AI@Southampton brings together a vibrant community of Southampton experts and collaborators to connect, share expertise and build solutions to the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
The initiative is expanding the University’s interdisciplinary network of world-leading researchers. It also supports collaboration with public service providers, businesses and local communities in and around the city.
AI@Southampton is coordinated by the University’s internationally renowned Web Science Institute (WSI), and led by its Director Professor Dame Wendy Hall, a global authority on AI who advises the UK government and international organisations.
As the University’s central hub, AI@Southampton is the key point of contact for faculties, researchers and civic partners to collaborate, share knowledge and expertise, and showcase AI innovation.
The initiative is funded by the University of Southampton and the Web Science Institute.
